Important Information
- Payment is due in full at the time of order to reserve your sign and date.
- For orders finalized more than one week in advanced, you will receive an online invoice to be paid with credit card on our secure payment portal. For orders less than a week away or if you require further assistance, we will call to confirm the order and take credit card payment over the phone to expedite securing your order.
- Do not allow anyone to play around the display for safety reasons. This will diminish the risk of personal injury or potential damage and further cost to you.
- It is our policy not to install in backyards but you can easily lift the sign and transport it yourself with care. If you do so, any liability is still yours and you MUST return it to the front lawn for pickup.
- If we are thus unable to collect the rental items due to it being relocated or stored in the garage a $25 charge + any applicable delivery fees will be applied for a second attempt to pick them up.
- Lawn maintenance must be done before we install the display or postponed once we have made the set-up. Grass trimmers will easily shred the plastic ornaments and you will be charged for these damages.
- The renter agrees to pay for any missing or damaged items whether they are taken as a keepsake by anyone from the assigned property or by complete strangers. If you are unsure about the neighborhood integrity the display should be taken down after use and put aside for pickup.
- Our inventory is constantly being renewed and added to. Therefore, if we use a newer version, there may be some variations or improvements to an older example on the website, In other words, all signs may not be exactly as shown.
- Lawn Letters, its operators, contractors and employees are not responsible for any damage or personal injury caused by our displays. Children must not be allowed to run around the displays as it may easily injure if fallen onto. Renters must use their best judgement on whether to leave a sign up in severe weather. We will generally extend a rental period for free if a sign is taken down for this reason.
Refund Policy
- Bookings cancelled at least a week in advance will receive a full refund.
- Bookings cancelled with less than 7 days notice can choose between a 50% refund or a 75% credit towards a future order.
- Cancellations must be done by phone or email and refunds will not apply until an email confirmation is sent to you acknowledging your request (texting after business hours the night before will not work).
- A full credit will be applied towards a future order in the event that we are unable to set up a lawn display for any reason including road closures prohibiting access, flooding, ice storms or any condition we consider too dangerous to drive in.
- No refunds will apply for the following:
- If we are given the wrong address or date
- If you did not correct an error in the confirmation email
- If permission was not given to you by the homeowner or recipient and we are asked to remove the display
- If the driver feels threatened by an aggressive animal on the property and is unsure whether it is restrained
- If we are turned away from a gated neighborhood by security because they were not informed
